China, what standards to use for SAR in China? Standard YD/T1644.1:2007 is identical to EN 62209-1 (for devices held to the ear) and is intended for the evaluation of hand held devices such as cellular phones. Egypt NTRA mobile phones
Egypte NTRA, Starting from Sunday 2011-09-04, the following procedures will apply to type approval samples that will be submitted after that date: The samples can be retrieved 30 days after the submittal date, and not later than 45 days from such date (two weeks only). It is not permitted to request the retrieval of samples after the above mentioned period as these samples will be scrapped. As for the equipment imported from China (the country of origin), the company is entitled to retrieve only one sample from the two submitted samples; and the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) will keep and retain the second sample in order to refer thereto (when necessary) and compare it with the samples taken from the upcoming shipments. In order to have the samples re-delivered, a letter certified from the importing company should be issued stipulating the the authorization of a delegate or representative in addition to a description of the number of models to be re-delivered. These rules will not apply to mobile devices commonly known as "Tablet" or "PDA" whose screen size exceeds 4 inches, provided that only one sample of these models will be submitted to get a Type Approval certificate.

BRIC Countries are considered to be the emerging economies, but the world is changing and the concept appears dynamic and gets follow ups. South Africa also is mentioned with the enlarged abbreviation BRICS, however China might go solo and suddenly we have BRI, if not South Korea and Turkey are also fast growing economies so may becomes BRIKT. ITU-R Confers 4G to 3GPP LTE
ITU, The 3GPP candidate technology submission for IMT-Advanced developed as LTE Release 10 & Beyond (LTE-Advanced) was accepted on the 20th of October 2010 as a 4G technology at the China/Chongqing meeting of ITU-R Working Party 5D, having successfully completed Steps 4 through 7 of the IMT-Advanced process in ITU-R, complying with or exceeding the ITU established criteria in all aspects.

Chinese EMC standard GB 9254
China, according to CNCA public notice No. 31, the new Chinese EMC standard GB9254:2008 for IT and Telecom products has been implemented on September 1, 2009 and replaced the previous version GB9254:1998. For all new CCC applications the products must be tested to this new standard. For already issued CCC certificates that used the old GB9254:1998, the applicant is required to carry out additional testing and apply for an updated certificate before September 1, 2010.
