Chinese-European cooperation
European Union and the EFTA states started to cooperate with China in the Europe-China Standards Information Platform (CESIP). In 2006, the EU, EFTA and the three ESOs (CEN, CENELEC and ETSI) decided to sign a grant agreement and appoint a Seconded European Standardization Expert in China (SESEC) in order to shed some light on China standardization and Quality Infrastructure activities.
