ACMA RCM approval

ACMA RCM approval for radio and/or telecommunication equipment. Radio, EMC and Safety are both covered under the combined RCM scheme. RCM approvals can be filed under sDoC by a ACMA registered Australian business entity. The equipment shall be marked with the RCM logo and business number (there are some alternatives instead of business number). Teleconformity can offer a local representative to "hold" your RCM filing. C-tick and A-tick approvals have been phased out on March 1, 2016. Depending on the product specification, Teleconformity can make a correct judgement of what needs to be done.

Safety approval

Safety approvals are applicable for certain electr(on)ic equipment as specified in appendix E of AS/NZS4417.2. Safety approvals are issued by state regulatory authority, for example by Queensland (Qxxxx), Victoria (Vxxxx) or in New South Wales (NSWxxx). An alternative to the regular safety authority schemes are the "standards mark" or type test approval. Depending on the product specification, Teleconformity can make a correct judgement of what needs to be done. Special attention must be paid to power adapters, as these must meet the MEPS (energy efficiency) requirements!
